Kathy Kuck, President & Chief Executive Officer of Pocono Health System/Pocono Medical Center recently announced the appointment of Paulette Nish as Vice President of Patient Care Services. Ms. Nish has served as Director of Women and Children Services at Pocono Medical Center since January 2008 and has been the Medical Center’s Spirit of Women Coordinator since its inception.

Kuck noted that Nish brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having held nursing administrative roles in Women and Children’s Services at Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. “I am pleased to announce that Paulette has been appointed to this important role,” Kuck said. “Her sincere dedication to patient care, our staff, and our Health System as a whole will serve our region well.”

Nish obtained her nursing diploma from the Mercy Hospital of Nursing in Scranton, Pennsylvania as well as both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Marywood University. She also holds a Post Master Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Villanova University and she is currently attending DeSales University to obtain a Masters in Business Administration.

The Patient Care Services division includes Nursing Quality, Education, Research, Patient Relations, Infection Control, Finance and Staffing, Behavioral Health, Women and Children’s Services, Critical Care and PCU, Nursing Peri-Operative Services, and Emergency Services.
