GOSHEN- Orange County Executive Edward Diana recently met with McCallion Campbell to congratulate her on the completion of her internship with his office. The County Executive took the opportunity to express his appreciation that young people in the County were interested in learning about and participating in public service. During her time with the County, Campbell organized press conference, drafted releases, worked with constituents, covered meetings of the Orange County Legislature and monitored local and regional media.

“I want to thank Miss Campbell for her excellent service to the people of Orange County during her internship and commend her on her outstanding skills,’ Diana said.

A resident of Port Jervis, Campbell is currently entering her junior year at Marist College in Poughkeepsie where she is working toward her degree in Public Relations. A member of the Dean’s list, Campbell is putting the skills she learned in her internship to good use as an interviewer for the Marist Institute of Public Opinion, where her data is compiled and used by several major organizations. She is also employing her public relations abilities at the campus television station and as a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
