SCCC Orientation Set For Jan. 21

NEWTON, N.J. – An orientation for new and transfer students at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) will be held on Thursday, January 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Newton campus.

Presentations will be made by Heidi Gregg, Associate Director of Student Services, Harry Damato, Vice President of Student Services, and Dr. Constance Mierendorf, President of SCCC.  Students will then be divided into groups to participate in various discussions including campus safety, College 101, Diversity and making the most of campus online tools.  New and transfer students will also tour the campus, visit the Performing Arts Center, computer labs and bookstore; meet student leaders, faculty and administration; obtain parking stickers and apply for their SCCC ID cards.  Lunch with staff and faculty will be provided.
