Amy Ardler’s, Diana Kudrich’s, and Janel Stewart’s kindergartners are all smiles as they begin their first day at Delaware Valley Elementary School. The students of DVES returned on Monday and are off what Principal Kim Butaitis and staff expect be a great year for everyone.

This picture of my strings teacher, Mrs. Ruth Sweeney, and me was taken while practicing for my solo in the Delaware Valley Elementary School and Shohola Elementary School combined concert held this past May. Mrs. Sweeney is pictured accompanying me. The song I was playing was “Concerto No. V in A Major” by Wolfgang Mozart. I was a student in Mrs. (Janelle) Mang’s sixth grade at Delaware Valley Elementary School when this photo was taken but I am now a seventh grader who will attend the DV Middle School when school starts again in August.
Delaware Valley Elementary School sixth graders Sam Evers and Conner Gawel are pictured assembling their recycling game which they were about to play with Mrs. Amy Ardler’s kindergartners during Earth Day activities this past spring. The sixth graders were students in Mrs. (Ann) Connell’s/Mrs. (Cindy) Bachman’s class and are now headed to DV Middle School as seventh graders.
MILFORD – Scooter, the Mascot of the Sussex Skyhawks Baseball Team, visited Delaware Valley Elementary School to promote the “Score an A’, Score a Ticket” Academic Incentive Program.

Tawhid Jahangir, Trinity Long, and Marcus Cortez agree with the title of the book they read together in their kindergarten class this past school year. The students were classmates in Mrs. Diana Kudrich’s Delaware Valley Elementary School kindergarten and have now expanded their horizons as they head to first grade.
Emily Guerrero, Ryan Corwin, Zhin Benton, Dylan Legato, Trinity Long, Logan Nemeth and Megan Martel are pictured with the shapes and colors charts that they became so familiar with during their past school year as kindergartners in Mrs. Diana Kudrich’s Delaware Valley Elementary School class. The students will soon be on to new adventures in first grade.
Eric Cabrera Agostini, Jacob Broughan and Alex Cron were kindergartners in Mrs. Diana Kudrich’s Delaware Valley Elementary School class during the past school year. They practiced their letters and sentences and are now headed to first grade when school reopens in August.
Students at Delaware Valley Elementary School celebrated Earth Day this past April. Sixth grade students came to different classrooms to do activities with the younger students. I am the Delaware Valley Elementary School sixth grader (going into seventh) with the glasses on the left. Pictured with me are some of my sixth grade classmates: Joana Inostroza, Vinny Moncelsi, and Gaeron Friedrichs. Behind them are Mrs. (Kim) Butaitis (our principal) with four members of the Delaware Valley Elementary School Board. We had just given the school board members a tour of our school and we were listening to the orchestra of our school during this pictured. The orchestra was wonderful and we really enjoyed meeting and spending time with our guests from the school board.
Miranda Murray, Anna Bailorand, and Chloe Young were kindergartners in Mrs. Diana Kudrich’s Delaware Valley Elementary School class during the past school year. Just as the book they read together with their teacher suggested, they flapped their wings so well that are headed to first grade for the next school year.
